IT HELP DESK
LOCATION: This position is based at Florida Turnpike Enterprise’s Headquarters in Ocoee, FL (West Orlando near Metro West area).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works as part of IT support team and help desk
- Installs, upgrades, patches and otherwise maintains server operating systems
- Implements upgrades, fixes and updates to server hardware components
- Participates in deployment of enterprise applications and services
- Provides advice and guidance to client’s technology testing and deployment teams
- Assists in troubleshooting networking issues (LAN switch and connectivity)
- Locates and installs servers in appropriate data facilities
- Assists in technical review, selection and acquisition of servers
- Ensures security and backup of server data
- Researches new server technologies (VS, SAN, iSCSI, etc.)
- Works as planner, assessing the effect of new equipment and technologies on core services and applications, and makes appropriate adjustments
- Vendor management, assuring maintenance contracts are serviced; uses vendors for installation, problem resolution and other lifecycle events
- Project coordinator, creating scopes, documentation and specification for new and installed solutions
- Staff supporter, by partnering with helpdesk to ensure that information is communicated to those that support direct customers
- Writes server and application support procedures
COMPENSATION: Salary Range $50,000 - $52,000; plus comprehensive benefits package, including: 100% company-paid medical, life and disability insurances; vacation, sick and holiday pay; and company-contributed dental insurance and retirement savings program.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates Degree or higher in computer programs, system administration, or similar fields
- At least 5 years experience in IT Help Desk
- Technical certifications preferred
- Active directory experience preferred (Microsoft MCP or better)
- Experience with Help Desk and/or training of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
- Experience with Antivirus Tools, intrusion detection, risk analysis, and fireways
- Network troubleshooting
- Experience with installation and upgrades for CADD software (AutoCAD, Microstation)
- Experience with managing multiple tape backups and jobs (LTO tape library, Veritas)
- Background in managing large file system (EMC SAN & Brocade FC experience preferred)
- Support of IT infrastructure such as network connectivity, printers, telephone, Blackberry/PDA support, videoconferencing, and audiovisual assistance
- Availability for occasional regional travel to South Florida
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
CAD / GIS TECHNICIAN
LOCATION: This position is based at the firm's corporate offices in Maitland...a congenial, professional environment...and may also work at our client's offices in Orlando.
JOB STATUS: This position is classified as Temporary Part-Time. Hours will be determined based on project needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop AutoCAD plans supporting civil-related projects, using data and drawings from multiple sources, utilizing AutoCAD 2010 and Autodesk Map 3D 2010
- Cross-platform (CAD-GIS and GIS-CAD) transfer and utilization of data & drawings for analysis
- Input information from as-built plans
- Manipulate image files to match CAD linework
- Prepare graphics for presentation boards and PowerPoint presentations
- Convert GIS data to AutoCAD format
- Incorporate GIS based data into AutoCAD drawings
- Do site measurements and translate field data to CADD drawings
COMPENSATION: Salary Range $26.44 - $27.40 per hour, based on qualifications and experience;

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Associates Degree in AutoCAD or similar
- Minimum 4 years related experience
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD Map3D 2010
- Intermediate GIS application skills using ArcGIS 9.2
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- Intermediate skills in databases using MS Excel and MS Access
- Intermediate Adobe Photoshop skills desired
- Utility experience in GIS, and familiarity with Geodatabases are preferred
- Good communication skills
